FRAG has provided an update on FRAG St. Clair, its upcoming Counter-Strike LAN event in Windsor, Ontario. The tournament was announced back in April and marks the organization’s second event in Canada.
When first announced, FRAG St. Clair was scheduled to run from July 10-12 as a three-day event. The event has since been moved to a two-day schedule on July 11-12, 2026.
At the time of writing, nine teams have registered for the tournament. The event currently features a $2,000 USD prize pool, with the potential to scale up to $10,000 USD if all 32 team slots are filled. Under the maximum prize pool structure, first place would receive $5,500 USD.
The event will be hosted inside St. Clair College’s Nexus Esports Arena, with spectator passes expected to be made available closer to the event.
FRAG St. Clair is also listed as a VRS event. As of today, it is the only announced LAN in Canada where teams can earn VRS points. Other Canadian LAN events held this year, including FrostFire and LAN ETS, were not VRS-ranked.
As a Canadian Counter-Strike organization, we’ll be attending FRAG St. Clair and look forward to seeing the community from across Canada and North America throughout the weekend.
ThirdSite will have a presence at the event, and we’re currently working through plans for potential tournament participation. We’ll share more information as those plans are finalized.
