ThirdSite at CIE 2026 Panel on Founding an Esports Organization

ThirdSite founder Jack “eviljonbob” Nicol recently took part in the panel “From Vision to Victory: Founding of an Esports Organization” at the Canadian Intercollegiate Exhibition (CIE) 2026.

The panel brought together founders and industry veterans to share their experiences building esports organizations from the ground up, covering topics like early challenges, growth, and long-term sustainability.

Jack was joined by Eric “Itlog” Chong (Cupid Esports Founder and West Point Esports Co-Owner) and Emil “.Mil” Vanjaka (Esports Canada – Director of Operations, Chair of Esports Canada, Director at Quebec Esports, and 2k Senior Operations),

It was a valuable discussion with a range of perspectives on what it takes to start and run an esports organization, offering practical insight for anyone looking to get involved in the space.

ThirdSite is also supporting CIE 2026, including the Counter-Strike tournament running from May 6–8. Matches will be broadcast on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/cie_ggs

“Thank you to CIE for having me on again as a panelist. Looking forward to watching the Counter-Strike tournament.” — eviljonbob.
